Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before you know it, you'll be getting fit and your energy levels will be soaring! It's easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating.
Ballerina Birthday Parties at Platinum Dance Academy! $25 off Birthday Parties booked in October. Tutu's + Dancing + A Real Life Ballerina will make your child's birthday a joyful and whimsical event to remember. You and your guest will be greeted by a beautiful ballerina princess who will whisk your guest into a enchanted room full of treasures, dancing and dress up tutus.
We provide 2 hours of ballerina fun. This includes 45 minutes of dance instruction from a beautiful ballerina princess, dress up tutus, music, ballerina crafts for each guest, ballerina princess party coordinator, decorated ballerina table, chairs, and clean up. You provide cake, food, party favors, plates, utensils, and additional decorations (ex. mason jars filled with pink cotton candy). Or we can provide these extras for additional charge. Parties starts at $250 for 10 ballerinas guest. Add on party features include, clowns, face painting, story telling and more. We like to be as creative as you let us!

MSU Homecoming Parade
We will be participating in the MSU Homecoming parade on October 11th. All participants, parents and dancers who ride the float must wear their black and green Platinum Dance Academy shirt and all black, jeans are fine. Shirts are estimated to arrive week of October 7th. Please layer all clothing/coats under the studio shirt. Dancer’s must wear a bun. Arrive to our float site at 5:00-5:30 pm. The parade will begin at the intersection of Abbot Road and Burcham Drive at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center, will travel south on Abbot Road, east on Grand River, south at Collingwood, south on Farm Lane and will conclude at the corner of Farm and Shaw Lanes. Pick up will be at Erickson Hall parking lot on the corner of Farm Lane and Shaw Lane.
Who Want to Ride in the Banana Car?
Yes, it’s the banana car and it’s pulling Platinum Dance Academy’s float. We will sell raffle tickets October 1st-4th. Three tickets will be drawn for 3 kids who will be able to ride in the cool car! Arms length of raffle tickets sold for $10.
Winter Recital Fee Due October 2nd
The Winter Performance at East Lansing Hannah Community Center will be held on Sunday, December 14th at 1:00pm. A $65 performance fee which would include the cost of the stage rental, props, stage tech, and costume rental fee will be due on the week of October 2nd. Please submit payment in the gray box in the lobby or by mail at 4976 ½ Northwind Dr, East Lansing, MI 48823. You do not need to get tickets for this show. Please feel free to invite friends, family, and neighbors. If your dancer is unable to participate I will need a written notice by October 1st.
Halloween Week!
Wear your Halloween costume to class during the week of Halloween, October 28-30. For safety please make sure your child is able to move freely in their costume. No class on October 31st.

Ballroom Dance Parties
We host dance practice parties typically the first Friday of every month for ballroom students and the community. The next dance party is October 1st, 7:15 pm - 10:00 pm at Walnut Hills Country Club. Cost is $12.00 per person. Come and ballroom dance with us! Couples & Singles are welcome!
Tuition
Tuition is due by the 7th of each month. Tuition is a yearly flat rate divided into to 9 monthly payments. If payment is not received by the 7 day a $10 late fee will be charged for late processing. If mailing tuition please mail to: 4976 ½ Northwind Dr., East Lansing, MI.

Beach Party + Kids Dancing= KIDS ZUMBA BEACH PARTY! Friday's, 5:45-6:40pm, ages 4-12. A non-stop dance party for kids! Combines dance and music in a festive way where kids can have fun dancing and exercising. Kids learn hip hop, cumbia, salsa, merengue and more! Keep them moving while having fun! — at Platinum Dance Academy.

If you haven't been to the studio before please note our location is tucked away. We are located in the same building as Capitol Lighting & play., but we are in the back of the building, 5th door down, and we have a black and silver sign above the door.
